Every year, there are at least 200 children from the communities and Phnom Penh Garbage Dump that come to Cambodian Organization for Living and Temporary-care (COLT) to study English while their parents are not able to pay for them at the private school. They stay in a safe place in COLT Daycare while their parents are poor and have to go to work to improve income. The kids can join after school activities like football, arts, life skill trainings to keep them away from drug abuse and other negative activities.

For COLT it would be really great to have more and more

local volunteers, teachers and interns getting involved.

This both makes the organisation less dependent on the

foreign activities and volunteers and it also helps the kids

to learn more about life from local experienced people.
