About the Cambodian organization COLT
COLT (Cambodian Organization for Living and Temporary-care) strives to provide sustainable support for families and children in Cambodia in the areas of temporary and long-term residential care, education, medical and social support, sports activities and environmental awareness.
In order to realize these objectives it is essential to have qualified staff, who are capable of dealing with the various duties our community center strives to fulfill. The local staff is directed by Shelter Manager Piseth, who keeps in touch with the board on a regular basis.
The staff in Cambodia is supported in the daily management of the center by the board of COLT. This board has four Cambodian members, including the Shelter Manager, and additionally seats three foreign members, that all represent a major sponsor of the organization. In addition to the formal board meetings, the various board members drop in regularly to provide support of any kind.
